About Your Nurse

Amy Karam is a registered nurse with over 15 years of experience in the medical field, beginning in high school at age 15 when she worked for CVS and volunteered in local nursing homes. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia and has worked as a nurse across the country. Amy has previously worked in the Triangle at WakeMed and UNC Medical Center. 

Amy was inspired to start Nurse Valet after helping her own friends and family with transportation and nursing care, following discharge instructions. She saw a demand for services provided by a skilled professional that could assist people in the community that don’t have options for transportation to and from outpatient appointments or tests.
